Healing

We see you as more than a collection of symptoms. Our care is built on understanding your complete story so that we can support lasting wellness for your body, mind, and spirit, rather than just temporary relief or quick fixes.

What our clients say

"So therapeutic and relaxing!"

I have had the honor of Vika giving me massages, Shannon’s acupuncture, and cupping. I have also had the experience of using the infrared sauna. Vika is very therapeutic and is very in tune with the body. I leave her relaxed and feeling so much better. She always knows where I need to improve my health.

"I left floating…"

While my husband was with Sheri, I had a massage by Derek Porter. It was one of my all time best massages. I haven’t felt this loose in my hips and shoulders in years. I left floating. We argued over who had the better massage and agreed to add Sheri and Derek as part of our old age health care plan. We can’t wait to book again. PS We slept like babies that night.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to help you feel prepared and at ease.

How should I prepare for a massage?

Arrive a few minutes early to relax and settle in. Drink water beforehand and wear comfortable clothing. You don't need to do anything special to prepare. Just come as you are and leave any precious jewelry at home.

How should I prepare for acupuncture?

Eat a light meal 1 to 2 hours before your appointment and avoid coming on an empty stomach. Wear loose, comfortable clothing so your acupuncturist can access areas like your arms, legs, and abdomen. Skip caffeine and alcohol beforehand, and stay hydrated without overdoing it. Avoid strenuous activity before and after your session to help your body fully benefit. Bring a list of medications and any relevant medical history, and be open about your symptoms, stress, and lifestyle so your treatment can be tailored to your needs.

How often should I get acupuncture?

Dr. Shannon will create a custom plan based on your condition and how you respond to treatment. In general, you may start with one to two sessions per week for a few weeks depending on the severity of your symptoms. For ongoing wellness and prevention, once every two to four weeks is common. If you’re dealing with an acute issue, more frequent sessions over a shorter period may be recommended.

How often should I get a massage?

It depends on your lifestyle, health goals, and how your body feels. For general wellness, once a month is a great starting point. If you're dealing with stress, pain, or physical strain, more frequent sessions may help.

For relaxation and stress relief, a monthly practice helps maintain balance.
For tension or desk-related strain, try to keep your muscles feeling loose and supported every two to three weeks.
For chronic pain or injury recovery, one to two times per week may ease discomfort and support healing.
For athletic or high-activity lifestyles: weekly or biweekly sessions can boost recovery and prevent injury
For occasional soreness or emotional reset: schedule as needed when your body or mind feels off. Everyone’s needs are different, so tune in to what your body is telling you and adjust as needed.
