At Backcountry Wellness Center, our counseling sessions are tailored to meet you where you are — emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Whether you're navigating life transitions, grief, anxiety, relationships, or general overwhelm, you’ll be met with empathy and skill.

Our licensed practitioners draw from evidence-based practices while honoring your unique story and personal path. You don’t need to have a diagnosis to benefit from therapy. If you’re simply seeking a place to feel heard, supported, and more grounded, we’re here for you.

Your visit

We begin each session by creating space for whatever is present — no pressure, no judgment. You are invited to speak freely, take your time, or simply breathe. This is your time, and your pace.

Here’s what a typical session may include:

  • Compassionate listening and collaborative goal setting
  • Evidence-based tools to support emotional regulation and mental clarity
  • Gentle exploration of life patterns, beliefs, and inner dialogue
  • Space to process grief, trauma, transitions, or uncertainty
  • Optional integration with other wellness services, like acupuncture or bodywork

Sessions may include mindfulness practices, breathwork, or somatic grounding techniques, depending on your preferences. All conversations are held in confidence and care.
